Serves 6
Recipe in English:

Ingredients:
-Kacchi haldi (Fresh turmeric) 1 inch piece
-Adrak (Ginger) 1 inch piece
-Fresh basil leaves 8
-Lehsan (Garlic) desi 10-12 cloves
-Chicken with bones 400g (Preferably desi chicken)
-Water 2.5 liters
-Pyaz (Onion) 1 medium
-Gajar (Carrot) 1 medium
-Sabut kali mirch (Black peppercorns) 2 tsp
-Laung (Cloves) 4
-Darchini (Cinnamon stick) 1
-Tez patta (Bay leaves) 2
-Himalayan pink salt 2 tsp or to taste
-Kali mirch (Black pepper) crushed

Directions:
-In a mortal & pestle,add fresh turmeric, ginger, fresh basil leaves, garlic & crush coarsely then set aside.
-In a pot add chicken, water & bring it to boil.
-Remove the scum now, add crushed vegetables, onion, carrot, black pepper corns, cloves, cinnamon stick, bay leaves, pink salt, mix well, cover & cook on low flame for 1 & hours.
-Strain the broth & set aside.
-Remove cooked chicken, let it cool & shred it.
-In serving bowl add shredded chicken, prepared broth, sprinkle black pepper crushed on top & garnish with basil leaves.

-Mortal & pestle may kacchi haldi, adrak, fresh basil leaves, lehsan daal kar coarsely crush karen or alag rakh den.
-Aik pot may chicken or pani daal kar ubal anay den.
-Scum utar kar us may crush ki hui vegetables, pyaz, gajar, sabut kali mirch, laung, darchini, tez patta, pink namak daal kar mix karen or dhak kar halki aanch par 1 & ghantay tak pakayen k chicken gal jaye.
-Pakay huye broth ki chalni se chaan len, broth ko alag rakhden or chicken ko nikal kar raisha karlen.
-Serving bowl may resha ki hui chicken, tayar broth daal kar kali mirch crushed charak kar serve karen!
