Today we visit Old Airport Road Food Centre, one of Singapore's oldest food centres. In the 70's Singapore moved street food vendors into hawker centres and there are now over 100 in Singapore. For a country that is known as being an expensive place to visit the food in its hawker centres or food centres is super cheap and absolutely delicious.

Old Airport Road Food Centre has over 100 stalls offering dishes from a range of cuisines including Malay, Chinese, Singaporean (of course), Indian, Muslim and more. There is so much choice and the quality of the food is very high.

In this video we sample:

- Kopi and kaya toast from Toast Hut;
-Hokkien fried mee from Nam Sing;
-Char koay teow from Dong Ji Fried Kway Teow;
-Oyster omelette from Xing Li Cooked Food;
-Tadpole bobo chacha from Blanco Court Hot and Cold Dessert

We would totally recommend all of the dishes we sampled but there are also plenty of other amazing stalls that are worth visiting.

Old Airport Road Food Centre is open every day for breakfast, lunch and dinner although note that each stall may have different hours and days of operation.
