When we say 'One-Pot' we mean one pot... everything - even the pasta - is cooked in just the one pan.Ingredients:4 slices thick-sliced bacon, chopped2 cloves garlic, minced8 oz. (225g) penne3 cups (750 mL) chicken broth½ tsp (2 mL) salt¼ tsp (1 mL) freshly ground black pepper1 head broccoli chopped1 cup (250 mL) frozen peas¼ cup (60 mL) whipping cream (35%)¼ cup (60 mL) grated Parmesan cheese (or Pecorino, or any hard Italian cheese you like) Method:In a deep skillet fry the bacon until crisp. Add in garlic; cook stirring for 30 seconds or so. Then add in pasta, broth, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil; reduce heat, cover and simmer for 12 to 15 minutes or until pasta is tender. Give it a stir once or twice during this time. Stir in broccoli, peas, whipping cream, and Parmesan cheese.
