This is the quickest way to make soft and instant semolina/rava/sooji idli for breakfast/dinner. This easy rava breakfast recipe does not require long fermentation process. Adding pepper powder and cumin powder to the batter enhances the taste and adds the desired twist to the semolina idlis.

Yields: 8 - 10 Rava idlis
Shelf life: 1 day, best consumed when hot

INGREDIENTS:
1. Rava - 1 cup 180g
2. Curd beaten - 1 cup
3. Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
4. Cumin seeds 1/2 tsp
5. Bengal gram - 1 tsp
6. Black gram - 1 tsp
7. Green chillies, chopped - 2
8. Ginger, chopped - 1” piece
9. Curry leaves chopped - 1 sprig
10. Coriander leaves - 1/4 cup
11. Pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
12. Cumin powder - 1/2 tsp
13. Baking soda - 1 pinch
14. Salt
15. Oil
16. Carrot grated - for garnishing
17. Cashew roasted - for garnishing
18. Water - 1/4 cup 60ml
