My mom inspired me for this recipe :-)She was telling me how delicious was the concord grape cake (torta con uva fragola) that her grandma used to cook in late September/beginning October when the grapes in Italy are perfectly sweet. She was just a kid and while grandma was cooking she was eating the grapes left from the recipe :-)That's how I decided to use a local variety of grapes (concord + champagne) and try to recreate the same recipe my great grandma used. Unfortunately she didn't leave us any note...but I can tell you that Luca really enjoyed the final result!A scoop of Vanilla ice cream will be a perfect match for this cake!
