An innovation jain version of the popular recipe Rosti made using raw bananas.JAIN RAW BANANA RÖSTIIngredients2 raw bananasCrushed black peppercorns to taste1 green chilli, finely chopped1 tablespoon crushed salted peanutsSalt to tasteOlive oilas required 1 cup fresh cream1 tablespoon lemon juiceFresh parsley for garnishingMethod1. Peel and grate raw bananas on a plate. Add crushed peppercorns, green chilli, peanuts and salt and mix well.2. Heat some olive oil in a non-stick pan. Spread a spoonful of banana mixture over and cook till golden and crisp from both sides.3. To prepare sour cream, take cream in a bowl and whisk. Add lemon juice and salt and whisk well. Refrigerate to chill. 4.
