Ingredients:-

For the dough
Wheat flour: 1 cup
Carom seeds: 1 teaspoon
Salt: 1 teaspoon
Oil: 2 tablespoons
Water to knead the dough

For filling
Channa dal (soak 4-5 hours)
Moong dal (half crushed) cooked
Red chilli powder: 2 teaspoons
Salt: 1 teaspoon
Amchur: 1 teaspoon
Fresh mint leaves, crushed: ¼ cup

Method of Preparation
Take a mixing bowl, add wheat flour, carom seeds, salt and oil. Combine it together.
Gradually pour in water and knead it into a soft dough.
Now, cover the dough with a wet cloth and keep it aside.
Take another mixing bowl, add in soaked channa dal, cooked moong dal, chilli powder, salt, amchur and freshly chopped mint leaves. Mix it well.
Take a lemon size portion of the dough and flatten them further with the help of your palms and then with a rolling pin.
Give them a round shape and cut it in half.
Now dip your hands in water, fold the edges of the semi-circle in order to give it a cone shape.
Take the filling and stuff the prepared mixture in it.
Seal the ends properly by pressing the edges lightly with your fingers.
Then, heat oil in a pan and deep fry the samosas until they turn golden brown and crispy enough.
Serve with any dip of your choice.
