Go on, make this ultra-wholesome one-pot meal and enjoy!JAPANESE BROWN FRIED RICEIngredients1½ cups DaawatQuick Cooking Brown Basmati RiceSalt to taste1½ tbsps sesame oil 2 tbsps pine nuts2-3 fresh red chillies, diagonally sliced2-3 spring onion bulbs, chopped2 medium carrots, peeled, cut into ½ cm cubes and blanched½ cup boiled edamame beansCrushed black peppercorns to taste1½ tsps light soy sauce 2-3 tbsps chopped spring onion greens + for garnishToasted white sesame seeds to sprinkleMethod1. Take Daawat Quick Cooking Brown Basmati Rice in a bowl. Add sufficient water and wash for 2-3 times.2. Add sufficient water and soak for 25-30 minutes. Drain the water.3. Boil 5-6 cups water in a deep nonstick pan. Add the drained rice, salt and cook for 10-12 minutes.4. Drain and set aside.5. Heat sesame oil in a nonstick wok. Add pine nuts, fresh red chillies and mix well.6. Add spring onion bulbs, carrots, edamame beans and mix well.7. Add salt, crushed black peppercorns and mix.8. Add the cooked rice, light soy sauce, spring onion greens and toss well.9. Cook on medium heat for 2-3 minutes or till the rice is heated thoroughly.10. Transfer in a serving bowl.
