JHATPAT MUTTONIngredients500 grams mutton, cut into 2 inch pieces on the bone and boiled with bay leaf, crushed black peppercorns and salt2 tbsps oil1 large onion, sliced2 onions and 1 onion, pureed1½ tbsps ginger-garlic paste½ tsp turmeric powder1 tsp red chilli powder1½ tbsps Tata Sampann Meat Masala1 medium green capsicum, diced into 1 inch pieces2 medium tomatoes, diced into 1 inch pieces1-2 green chillies, slit1 small onion, diced into 1 inch piecesThin ginger strips for garnishCoriander sprig for garnishLemon wedge to serveMethod1. Heat oil in a non-stick wok, add onion and sauté till light golden brown. Add tomato-onion paste, ginger-garlic paste and mix well. Cook till the oil separates.2. Add the mutton and mix till well combined. Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, adjust salt, and sauté for 1-2 minutes.3. Add Tata Sampann Meat Masala and mix well. Cook for 1-2 minutes.4. Add green capsicum, tomatoes and slit green chillies. Add diced onions and sauté for 1 minute. Take the pan off the heat.5. Transfer on to a serving plate, garnish with ginger strips, coriander sprig and serve hot with lemon wedge.
