: Jjolmyeon, Korean Spicy Chewy Noodles Honeykki

Todays menu is jjolmyeon which I love eating it in the summer.
Jjomyeon is chewy noodles with chewy special spicy sour sauce, various vegetables.
You can easily find it in Korean snack bar. Much more delicious with gimbap or dumpling!

* Ingredients

Jjolmyeon(chewy noodles), cabbage, carrot, bean sprout, boiled egg
Jjolmyeon sauce (2~3 served): 3Tbs gochujang, 1Tbs redpepper powder, 2Tbs sugar, 2Tbs starch syrup or honey
2Tbs soy sauce, 6Tbs vinegar, 1/2Tbs chopped garlic, 1Tbs sesame oil, sesame seeds

* Recipe

1. Mix all the jjolmyeon sauce ingredients.

If you dont like sour flavor, you can add vinegar as little as you like.

2. Shred the cabbage and carrot, and blanch the bean sprout in salt water.

3. Separate the chewy noodles and boil them for 4~5min.

4. Rinse in ice water for the chewy texture.

5. Serve noodles with vegetables and sauce. done!
