It is a Holi specialty and a high-fiber whole grain, cooling and delicious snack.JOWAR DHANIIngredients3 cups puffed sorghum (jowar dhani)3 tbsps oil1 tsp mustard seeds½ tsp asafoetida (hing)5-6 garlic cloves, unpeeled and crushed3-4 green chillies, slit⅓ cup daliya dal¼ tsp turmeric powderA pinch of red chilli powderSalt to taste3-4 roasted urad dal papadsMethod1. Dry roast puffed sorghum till crisp in a non-stick pan. Transfer on a plate.2. Heat oil in the same pan, add mustard seeds and let them splutter.3. Add asafoetida, garlic and green chillies and mix well. Add daliya dal and cook till golden brown.4. Add curry leaves and mix well. Add raw peanuts and mix, cook for 2-3 minutes.5. Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, and salt and mix well.6. Add the puffed sorghum and mix till well combined. Switch the heat off and crush the papads and add into the pan and mix well.7. Allow the mixture to cool completely. Transfer into a serving bowl. 8. Serve.
