The classic Chicken Tikka in a sandwich avatar.

JUNGLEE CHICKEN TIKKA SANDWICH

Ingredients

4 brown and white bread slices
1 hotdog bun
1 cup chicken tikka
1 medium onion, chopped
1 medium carrot, grated
3 tablespoons tandoori mayo
2 tablespoons chopped fresh coriander
1 tablespoon chopped green chillies
Butter for applying + for greasing
4-6 lettuce leaves + for serving
Tomato ketchup for serving

Method

1. Preheat a grill toaster.
2. Take prepared chicken tikka on a worktop and shred them into long slices.
3. Add chicken, add onion, carrot, tandoori mayo in a bowl. Mix well. Add chopped coriander, chopped green chillies.
4. Apply butter on a brown bread slice with a butter knife. Add 2 tablespoons of mixture and spread it. Cover with another slice of bread.
5. To make another brown bread sandwich, add butter, mixture, lettuce leaves, cover with a bread slice.
6. Grease lower surface of grill with butter and place sandwiches on grill. Apply butter on top slices of breads. Grill till golden grill marks appear on both the sides.
7. Slice a hot dog bun into half, apply butter, tear and add remaining lettuce leaves, add 2 tablespoons of stuffing, cover and set aside.
8. Cut sandwiches into two and transfer them in a serving plate.
9. Serve immediately with lettuce leaf and tomato ketchup.
