Chic Peas (Garbanzos) cooked Punjabi Style by Celebrity Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi.IngredientsChole or Chic Peas - 2 cupChole masla- 2 TbspRed Chilli Powder – 1tspCoriander powder 1 tbspCumin powder- 1tspDried mango powder – 1 tspGaram masala – ¼ tspSalt to tasteGhee -4 TbspGinger Juliennes- 1 inch Green chilli juliennes- 2-3 nosTomatoes cubes- 1 mediumCarom seeds- 1 tspCoriander leaves chopped – 1 tbspMethod• Boil the soaked chick peas with a tea bag, and a little amla. Remove in a bowl and keep aside.• Take a bowl add boiled Chickpeas, Chole Masala, Red Chilli Powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, dried mango powder, garam masala, salt and mix well.• Heat a pan add ghee. Boil the Ghee till it is very hot.• Heat another pan add Chole, ginger juliennes, Green chilli juliennes, tomato. And mix well• Add a tsp of Carom seeds to the boiling Ghee.
