Kadai chole Recipe by Harpal Singh | Vegetarian Recipe | Chef Harpal Singh | chefharpalsingh

Chic Peas (Garbanzos) cooked Punjabi Style by Celebrity Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi.

Ingredients
Chole or Chic Peas - 2 cup
Chole masla- 2 Tbsp
Red Chilli Powder – 1tsp
Coriander powder 1 tbsp
Cumin powder- 1tsp
Dried mango powder – 1 tsp
Garam masala – ¼ tsp
Salt to taste
Ghee -4 Tbsp
Ginger Juliennes- 1 inch
Green chilli juliennes- 2-3 nos
Tomatoes cubes- 1 medium
Carom seeds- 1 tsp
Coriander leaves chopped – 1 tbsp

Method
• Boil the soaked chick peas with a tea bag, and a little amla. Remove in a bowl and keep aside.
• Take a bowl add boiled Chickpeas, Chole Masala, Red Chilli Powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, dried mango powder, garam masala, salt and mix well.
• Heat a pan add ghee. Boil the Ghee till it is very hot.
• Heat another pan add Chole, ginger juliennes, Green chilli juliennes, tomato. And mix well
• Add a tsp of Carom seeds to the boiling Ghee. And add the ghee to the chole.
• mix well and sauté for 2-3 mins.
• Remove in a serving bowl, add chopped coriander and serve hot.
