This restaurant style semi-dry Kadai paneer is made with Capsicum/green/red bell peppers and paneer.This irresistible aromatic dish is easy to cook and served as an entree in most restaurants and dhabas. Kadai Paneer can be enjoyed with roti/chapati, plain parantha, naan or flavored rice like Jeera rice or Pulao.Ingredients:Onion- 1(big)Tomatoes- 4Green bell pepper- 1Red bell pepper- 1Jeera- 1 tspTurmeric powder- 1/4 tspSalt- 1 tspSugar- 1 tspGarlic cloves- 3Ginger- A small pieceGreen chillies- 3Red chillies- 3Coriander powder- 1 tspGaram masala powder- 1 tspCashews- 5-10Coriander leaves- For garnishingOil- 4 tbspPaneer cubes- 2 cupsDirections:1.Grind tomatoes, ginger garlic paste, green chillies, and red chillies into a fine paste.2.Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan. Add jeera and onion and saute until onion is tender but crisp on medium flame. Then add bell peppers and cook with turmeric powder and salt until they are tender/crisp. Keep this aside.3.Heat oil in a pan. Add the ground tomato paste and cook for about 3-5 minutes over medium flame.Mix salt and sugar. When the gravy is shiny and the oil oozes out, add the garam masala powder and coriander powder. Cook until the raw smell of the masala disappears,4. Now add the sauteed onion bell pepper and cook for 2-3 minutes over low heat.5.Add paneer cubes and cover with lid.
