You've probably heard of Korean-Mexican fusion. Now's your chance to make these delicious tacos at home.INGREDIENTS:For the marinade:1 cup soy sauce4 garlic cloves3 tablespoon sesame oil1/3 cup sugar4 tablespoons fresh ginger, peeled and chopped1 Asian pear, cored and choppedHandful of cilantro sprigsFor the tacos:2 pounds skirt steak, sliced super thinJuice of 1/2 lemon2 limes, segmented and roughly chopped2 green onions, sliced on a bias1/4 cup green tomato, chopped1 carrot (sliced paper thin with peeler)Salt and pepper as needed8 fresh corn tortillas from a local food truck or taco shopBlack and white sesame seedsSTEPS:1.) In a blender, combine all marinade ingredients and blend until smooth. Combine marinade with steak and let sit for at least 20 minutes.2.) Heat a grill over high heat and sear steak until caramelized and cooked to desired doneness.3.) In a cast-iron skillet, warm corn (or flour) tortillas until pliable.4.) To assemble: Top 2 tortillas with kalbi beef, carrots, onions, and limes.
