We'll give you a behind-the-scenes look at our best shows, take you inside our favorite restaurant and be your resource in the kitchen to make sure every meal is a 10/10!Baked Onion RingsRECIPE COURTESY OF KARDEA BROWNLevel: EasyTotal: 30 minActive: 10 minYield: 4 servingsIngredientsBaked Onion Rings:1 large sweet onion, sliced into 1/2-inch rounds1 cup nonfat buttermilk 1/4 cup cornstarch 1/3 cup all purpose flour 3/4 cup yellow cornmeal 1/4 finely grated Parmesan cheese 1 Tablespoon Miss Brown’s House Seasoning (recipe follows)Olive oil cooking spray Miss Brown’s House Seasoning:1 teaspoon garlic powder1 teaspoon onion powder1 teaspoon sweet paprika1 teaspoon kosher salt1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepperDirectionsPreheat oven to 425 degrees F. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper. Lightly spray the parchment paper with olive oil cooking spray.Stir together the buttermilk and cornstarch in a shallow bowl.Stir together the flour, cornmeal, Parmesan cheese and House seasoning in a baking dish.Coat the onion slices by placing each slice into the buttermilk mixture allow excess to drip before coating in the seasoned cornmeal. Then place the coated rings in a single layer on the baking sheets. Repeat until all onion rings are coated. Give the onion rings a light spray with non-stick baking spray.
