Karela gravy with Jaggery - Bitter Gourd Curry Recipe Without Bitterness - Mini Recipes | Vahchef - VahRehVah

Karela Gravy
Ingredients:
Oil - 3 tsp
Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
Red Chillies - 4
Curry Leaves - 1 Spring
Onion(chopped) - 1
Garlic Pods - 10
Turmeric - ½ tsp
Chilli Powder - 1 tsp
Coriander Powder - 1 tsp
Tomatoes(chopped) - 2
Peanut Powder - 2 tsp
Jaggery - 1 tb spn

Method
Take a pan, Add Oil
Add 1 tsp of Mustard seeds
Add 4 Red Chillies
Add a sprig of Curry Leaves
Add 1 finely chopped Onion
Add 8-10 Garlic Pods
Add ½ tsp of Turmeric
Add 150 g of Bitter Gourd
Add 1 tsp Chilli Powder
Add 1 tsp of Coriander Powder
Add 2 finely chopped Tomatoes
Saute them on a Medium Flame
Add Salt as required
Add 1 cup of Water
Cook Closed for 10 minutes on a medium flame
Add 2 tsp Peanut Powder
Add 1 tb spn of Jaggery
Finish it off with Coriander Leaves
