India is a land of parathas. Almost in every region of this country, #paratha​ is being made and each of these parathas is different and unique in its taste and preparation. Well, most of us makes vegetarian parathas like aloo paratha or gobi paratha, or muli paratha etc. Then why not try some unique non – vegetarian parathas? Mutton keema is something which is very much tasty and is loved by everyone. We can surely accompany this ingredient with our very own style of paratha to make a nice and delicious non-veg dish. This keema paratha is one of the most indulging and provoking dish which you won’t be able to resist and that’s a promise to you from my side.

Kheema paratha

Preparation time : 10 mins
Cooking time :20 mins
Serving : 3 pax

Ingredient quantity
Oil 2-3 tbsp
Cumin seed 1 tsp
Ginger chopped 1 ½ tbsp
Green chilli chopped 4 nos
Mutton mince 2 cup
Salt to taste + to taste
Red chilli powder 1 ½ tsp
Turmeric powder ½ tsp
Coriander powder 2 tsp
Garam masala 1 tsp
Dry mango powder 1tsp
Wheat flour 1 tbsp + 2 ½ cup
Onion chiopped 1 nos
Coriander leaves chopped 3-4 tbsp
Ajwain 1 tsp

Method :

1. Heat a pan , add oil , cumin seed allow it to splutter .
2. Now add ginger , green chilli , sauté it for 10 seconds .
3. Now add mutton mince and sauté it nicely .
4. Now add salt , red chilli powder , coriander powder mix it well allow it to cook until it gets dried .
5. Transfer it to the bowl , add garam masala , dry mango powder , wheat flour , onion , coriander
leaves and mix it well , keep it aside .
6. In another bowl add , ajwain , wheat flour , salt , water and make a stiff dough .
7. Cover it with a muslin cloth and allow it to rest for 15 min .
8. divide the dough into equal portion and make a small bowl.
9. using you thumbs make a hollow pocket and stuff spoonful of the kheema mixture.
10. Add little wheat flour and cover it in inward formation .
11. Now flatten the stuffed dough using wooden roller .
12. Simultaneously make the other parathas .
13. Heat a griddle. Put the paratha on the hot griddle. Flip the paratha once light brown spots
appear on the bottom surface.
14. Now apply ghee , on both side , flip and cook on the both side .
15. Transfer it to the serving plate .
16. Serve hot along with curd .
