Refined flour – 2 cups (250 grams)
Ghee – 1/3 cup (75 grams)
Urad dal – ¼ cup (50 grams) (soaked)
Fennel powder – 1 tsp
Coriander powder – 1 tsp
Cumin powder – ½ tsp
Asafoetida – 1 pinch
Red chilly powder - ¼ tsp
Ginger powder – ¼ tsp
Dry mango powder – ½ tsp
Garam masala – ¼ tsp
Baking powder – 1 pinch
Salt – 1 tsp or to taste
Oil – for frying
