Khichdi is a one pot dish made with rice and lentils. It is an ayurvedic dish which helps with upset tummy or when someone is sick and can't seem to keep anything down. It also balances our doshas. Fry for 30 secs and add onions, garlic and cook for 2-3 mins. Add rice and lentils ( washed and perhaps soaked for 15-20 mins to an hr) along with water;. Cover the cooker and cook for 2 whistles. Let cooker cool down before opening it. Serve with homemade Dahi or lemon pickle. Enjoy!
