Welcome to my cooking channel )food channel)!
In this video I'm going to show you how to make Korean BBQ, Galbi!
Korean BBQ was my family's business in Korea and my dad is still in Korea keeping this tradition alive. He is an organic farmer, and I really respect what he does. This is one of my childhood foods and it is always keeping my heart warm. I hope everybody can feel as I do and enjoy~!! XOXO~!!

To prepare: Soak 4"x 4" kelb in 2 cups water, let it sit for 10 min to 1 hour. Add 1 dried shiitake mushroom and bring to boil then remove the kelb. Reduce the heat to medium low and simmer for 5 to 10 min. Remove from the heat and strain.

Ingredients
4 lb Pork shoulder steak or beef short ribs
6 oz Pineapple juice
1/4 cup Mirin
3/4 cup Rice wine
1 cup Soy sauce
1/2 cup Dashi broth (see prepare)
3 Tablespoons Chopped garlic
1/2 cup Chopped onion and green onion mixture(about ½ of medium onion and a couple green onions)
3 Tablespoons Honey, and 3 Tablespoon more for later
1 1/2 Tablespoon Sesame oil

Directions
1.Mix all ingredients accept meat.(from pineapple juice to sesame oil) Stir well to combine. Add pork shoulder steak or beef short ribs and marinate at least 3 hours to overnight.

2.Grill for until desired degree of doneness on medium high heat.

3.Pour all of marinate sauce in to sauce pan and bring to boil then add 3 Tablespoons honey. Reduce heat to medium simmer for 20 to 30 minutes. Remove scum from sauce if any.

4.Serve immediately with cooked rice, galbi sauce and other side dish as desired.
