Ghee or refined oil: 1tsp
Water: 1cup + 1/4 cup
Asafetida or hing: 2 pinch
Bottle guard or lauki / dudhi / Ghiya: 1 medium size, cut in small pieces
Tomato: 1 big or 2 small cut in big pieces
Salt to taste
Green chilli : 1 chopped in small pieces
Coriander leaves: 2 tbsp
Cumin seeds: 1tsp
Coriander powder: 2 tsp
Turmeric or haldi : 1/4 tsp
Red chilli powder: 1/2 tsp
Garam masala: 1/4 tsp
