Legendary Food Hidden in a No Stoplight Town | Munchies

Tucked away in the tiny town of Bovina, NY in the Catskill Mountains is Russell’s General Store: a quaint small general store with one of New York’s best bacon, egg and cheese sandwiches. Antonio, a former executive chef of Quality Bistro in NYC, moved up to Bovina during the pandemic to cook at Russell’s at the urging of friends who left the city to start anew in Bovina. Along with pie-maker Maggie, the two run the food program at Russell’s General Store, which also stocks classic and unexpected dry goods.
