Lemon Sevai - Semiya with Coconut Chutney
INGREDIENTS:
Coconut (grated) - 1 cup
Green chillies - 5 nos.
Chana dal - 1 tsp
Salt - As Per Taste
Oil - As per taste
Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
Urad dal - 1tsp
Red chillies - 5 nos.
Curry leaves - 1 spring
Roasted chana dal - 1 tsp
Cumin seeds - ½ tsp
Peanuts - 100 gms
Ginger - 150 gms
Onions - 2 nos.
Turmeric powder - ½ tsp
Hing - ¼ tsp
Water - As required
Lime juice - 1 tsp
Salt - As Per Taste
Vermicelli - 500 gms
Coriander leaves - 1 bunch
DIRECTIONS:
Take grated coconut in a bowl, add green chilli, roasted chana dal, salt grind into a fine paste.
Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, urad dal, red chillies, curry leaves fry them till they splutter.
Pour the tempering for coconut chutney top mix it well. Coconut chutney is ready.
Heat oil in another pan, add red chillies, mustard seeds, cumin seeds, chana dal, urad dal, peanuts, ginger, green chillies, curry leaves and fry them till splutter.
Then add onions, turmeric powder, hing mix it, add water, lime juice, salt boiled it.
Now, add vermicelli mix it and cook it for few minutes. At last, add coriander leaves cook it for a minute. Then switch off the flame.
