Watch and learn how to make Lotus Seed Curry a dish that everyone will loveLOTUS SEED CURRYIngredients1 cup lotus seeds (makhana)2 teaspoons oil2 green chillies, finely chopped6-8 curry leaves2 teaspoons ginger-garlic paste2 medium onions, finely chopped¼ teaspoon turmeric powder1 teaspoon red chilli powder2 teaspoon coriander powder1 cup fresh tomato puree1 medium potato, quartered and sliced¼ cup yogurtSalt to taste100 grams cottage cheese (paneer), cut into medium cubesChopped fresh coriander leaves, for garnishMethod1. Heat oil in a non-stick pan add green chillies, curry leaves, ginger-garlic paste and onions and sauté till the onions are light brown.2. Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder and coriander powder and sauté for two to three minutes.3. Add tomato puree mix well. Add lotus seeds and potatoes with half cup water and mix well. Cover and cook for five minutes.4. Add yogurt and mix well. Cook for four to five minutes. Add salt and cottage cheese and mix well.5.
