From Lombok to the Gili islands. This is part three of a four part series where we traveled to Lombok and stayed in a fantastic villa. We traveled by horse and cart to our next villa, which made it amusing. Horse and carts are still used as a form of transport in Lombok, it's not just for tourists. We met some local kids excited to see our drone and went snorkelling to the incredible Gili islands. The turquoise tropical blue water was warm and unforgettable. We saw underwater statues, lots of beautiful fish, a ferry wreck and large sea turtles. The villa Anandita is a fantastic luxury villa amazing, located on the beachfront with very comfortable rooms and beautiful food. It's great that you can hop on a boat and travel straight from your villa beach. We finished with a great sunset BBQ on the beach before venturing onto our next villa only a few doors down.
