Regular makai ki roti made healthier with the addition of spinach leaves. Enjoy it with some white butter on the side!

MAKAI PALAK ROTI

Ingredients

1½ cups corn meal (makai ka atta)
1 cup shredded spinach
Salt to taste
½ tsp carom seeds
½ tsp Tata Sampann Turmeric Powder
Ghee for cooking
White butter for serving

Method

1. Take cornmeal in a bowl. Add spinach, salt, carom seeds and Tata Sampann Turmeric Powder and mix well. Add 1 cup lukewarm water and knead to soft dough.
2. Heat a nonstick tawa. Take a portion of dough , dip your palms in water, place on a piece of parchment paper, cover with another parchment paper and roll lightly,
3. Remove the paper and transfer on a tawa. Apply ghee and cook on both the sides for 2 minutes each.
4. Serve hot with white butter.
