Make Rajma very yummy like this! | Sujan Fun Kitchen

Sujan Fun Kitchen as always has found a very simple method of making Rajma - Do try out. So welcome to Sujan Fun Kitchen!
Rajma
Ingredients:
Rajma/Kidney beans - 1 cup
Onions - 3 medium
Tomatoes - 6 or 8 medium
Green chillies - 4
Ginger - 1 inch
Roasted cumin/jeera powder - 3 tsp
Coriander powder - 1 tsp
Kashmiri chilli powder - 1 tsp
Garam Masala powder - optional to taste
Cumin seeds/jeera - 1tsp
Ghee/oil - 2 tbsp
Salt to taste
Coriander leaves for garnishing
Method:
Soak the rajma/kidney beans overnight in water
Pressure cook till soft
Meanwhile grate the onions
Chop and purée the tomatoes in a blender
Finely chop green chillies; grate the ginger
Heat ghee or oil in a thick pan
Splutter cumin seeds or jeera
Then add the green chillies and ginger, stir well
Add the grated onions and a pinch of salt
Add the roasted cumin/jeera powder and coriander powder
Sauté till onions turn golden - add more oil or ghee
Now add the tomatoes purée and the Kashmiri chilli powder and cook everything till ghee/oil separates
Add the drained water from the rajma to the heavy and also add salt
Now add the cooked Rajma and cook everything together over medium flame, closing lightly with a lid
Finally add garam masala if required
Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with Rice.
