Malai Gulab Jamun Recipe
Ingredients for Gulab Jamun Mixture:
Khoya 1 cup
All-purpose flour 3 tbsp
Semolina 2 tbsp
Baking powder 1/2 tsp
Milk 2 tbsp
Cardamom powder 1/4 tsp

Ingredients for Sugar Syrup:
Sugar 2 cups
Water 2 cups
Green cardamom 4-5
Lemon juice 1 tbsp

Ingredients for Malai Mixture:
Khoya 1 cup
Milk 2 cups

Directions for Gulab Jamun Mixture Preparation:
In a bowl add khoya, flour, semolina, baking powder, milk, cardamom powder and mix well. Knead a dough and let it rest for 15-20 minutes.
Make small round balls from the prepared dough and deep fry them on low medium flame until golden brown in color. Take off flame and set aside.
Directions for Sugar Syrup Preparation:
In a deep pan, heat water and add sugar, cardamom and cook for 4-5 minutes or until sugar is completely dissolved. Take off flame and set aside.
Directions for Malai Mixture Preparation:
In a pan heat milk and cook until it is half in quantity. Now add khoya and cook for 8-10 minutes on low flame until it is rich and creamy in texture. Take off flame and let it cool on room temperature.
Now dip the gulab jamun in the sugar syrup for about 10-12 minutes or until they are soft.
Now take the gulab jamun and fill the malai mixture. Your Malai Gulab Jamun is ready.

Cooking time: 30-35 mins
