Chicken pieces cooked in creamy gravy with fresh fenugreek leaves.MALAI METHI CHICKENIngredients500 gms boneless chicken, cut into 1 inch cubes2 tbsps fresh cream1 tbsp dried fenugreek leaves (kasoori methi)½ cup finely chopped fresh fenugreek leaves½ cup beaten yogurt2 tbsps ginger-garlic-green chilli paste¼ tsp turmeric powderSalt to taste3 tbsps oil2 medium onions, finely choppedMethod1. Mix chicken with dried fenugreek leaves, yogurt, ginger-garlic-green chilli paste, turmeric powder and salt in a large bowl and set aside in a refrigerator to marinate for ½ hour. 2. Mix fresh fenugreek leaves with salt and set aside for 10 minutes. Squeeze extra water and set aside in a small bowl.3. Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add onions and saute till lightly browned. Add fresh fenugreek leaves and saute for 1-2 minutes.4. Add chicken along with the marinade and mix well. Saute for 3-4 minutes.5. Add 1 cup water and mix well. Adjust salt, cover and cook till chicken is done.6. Add cream and mix well.7. Serve hot with naan or roti.
