Mutton pieces cooked in spicy coconut ground paste till dry.MALWANI SUKKA MUTTONIngredients400grams mutton on bones, cut into pieces ½ teaspoon turmeric powderSalt to taste3 tablespoons oil2-3 dried red chillies1 inch cinnamon 1 black cardamom3-4 black peppercorns2-3 cloves2 tablespoons poppy seeds2 tablespoons fennel seeds1 teaspoon cumin seeds1-2 green cardamoms1 teaspoon caraway seeds½ cup dried gratedcoconut 1 medium onion, chopped2 tablespoons green pasteMethod1. Heat mutton mince in a non-stick pan. Add turmeric powder and salt along with 2 cups water, mix and bring to boil. Cover and cook on low heat till mutton is half done.2. Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a non-stick pan. Add dried red chillies, cinnamon, black cardamom, peppercorns, cloves, poppy seeds, fennel seeds, cumin seeds, green cardamoms and caraway seeds and sauté till fragrant. Add coconut and sauté on low heat till golden.Remove from heat and cool. 3. Grind the prepared spice-coconut mixture with some water to a coarse paste.4. Heat remaining oil in a non-stick pan. Add onion and sauté till golden. Add green paste, mix and cook on high heat for a minute. Add prepared paste, mix and cook on high heat for a minute. 5. Add mutton mixture, mix, cover and cook on low heat for 15 minutes.6.
