A scrumptious starter made with Mandeli fish fillets!MANDELI FRYIngredients24-26 mandeli fishSalt to taste1 tsp red chilli powder½ tsp turmeric powder1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste1 tbsp lemon juice¼ cup corn starch¾ cup rice flour½ cup semolinaOil for deep fryingGreen chutney to serveOnion rings to serveLemon wedge to serveMethod1. Remove the head and clean the mandeli fish and set aside in a bowl.2. Add salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice, mix well. Set aside to marinate for 5-10 minutes.3. In a plate, add corn starch, rice flour, semolina, salt and mix well. Dip the fish in the prepared mixture and set aside.4. Heat sufficient oil in a non-stick pan, deep fry the prepared fish in the hot oil till golden brown and crisp. Drain on an absorbent paper.5.
