Make these yummy burfis with mangoes while the season lasts!

MANGO BARFI

Ingredients

½ cup mango pulp
1 cup fresh scraped coconut
½ cup sugar
¼ cup fresh cream
Ghee for greasing
¼ tsp green cardamom powder
1 tbsp powdered sugar
1-2 tbsps finely chopped mixed dry fruits + for sprinkling

Method

1. Heat coconut in a non-stick pan. Add sugar, cream and mango pulp, mix and cook for 2-3 minutes.
2. Grease a barfi tray with some ghee.
3. Add cardamom powder, powdered sugar and mixed dry fruits to the pan, mix and cook till the mixture thickens.
4. Transfer the mixture into the greased tray, level it out and tap. Sprinkle some mixed dry fruits on top and set aside for 2-3 hours.
5. Cut into diamonds and serve.
