Mango falooda/falooda | Gayathiri's Cookbook

Mango falooda is a cold Indian beverage made with falooda sev, mango pulp, milk, basil seeds, rose syrup, condensed milk and mango ice-cream.

Ingredients:
Basil seeds- 2 tsp
Falooda sev- 1/3 cup
Mango ice cream- 1 cup
Rose syrup- 1/2 cup
Condensed milk- 4 tsp
Mango pieces- 1 cup
Milk- 1 cup
Pistachios- For garnishing

Mango falooda recipe:

1. Soak 2 tsp Sabja/Basil seeds in water for 30 minutes. Strain the water after 30 mins and keep it aside.
2. Cook falooda sev/Vermicelli as per package instructions.Mix 2 tsp condensed milk with the cooked sev and keep it in the fridge until it is needed.
3. Mix 2 tsp condensed milk with 1 cup milk and keep it chilled in the fridge.
4. Chop 2 mangoes into small pieces.
5. Keep mango ice cream, chopped pistachios and rose syrup ready.
6. Take a serving glass.First add 1 tsp rose syrup at the bottom. Add a spoonful of soaked basil seeds and falooda sev.Then add some milk and chopped mangoes .Repeat the process one more time.
7.Top with a scoop of mango ice cream, chopped pistachios and 1 tsp of rose syrup.
Mango falooda is ready!!
