Mango Peda/Mango sweet | Gayathiri's Cookbook

This mango peda is an easy and delicious Indian sweet made with mango pulp and condensed milk and milk powder.

Ingredients:
Mango pulp- 1 cup
Milk powder- 1 cup
Condensed milk- 1 cup
Ghee- 4 tbsp
Cardamom- 1/4 tsp
Saffron strands- 5-10
Pista- For garnishing

Directions:
1. Heat 2 tbsp ghee in a pan. Add 1 cup condensed milk and 1 cup milk powder and mix well until combined.
2.Stir continuously until it reaches a dough consistency. Keep it aside.
3.Heat 2 tbsp ghee and then add 1 cup mango pulp, cardamom and saffron strands.
4. Cook until the mango puree has slightly thickened.Now add the milk powder, condensed milk dough.
5. Cook until the mixture thickens. Then let it cool down.
6.While the mixture is still warm, take a small portion of it and make it into a ball. You can make any shape out of it.
Mango peda is ready!!
