The perfect summer dessert, quick and easy, you can make it with fresh mangoes too..

Mango Rice Kheer Recipe

Ingredients

Rice soaked 5 tbsp
Milk ½ liter
Sugar 3tbsp
Saffron strands Few
Green cardamom powder ¼ tsp
Chopped cashewnuts 1tbsp
Chopped pistachio 1tbsp
Chopped almond 1 tbsp
Canned Alphanso Mango puree 1 cup
Fresh cream For garnish
Rose water 1tsp
Raisin 2 tbsp


Method

1. In a pan add in the milk and soaked basmati rice and cooked for 10-15 mint or until the rice is cooked and thickens.

2. Now add in the sugar and mango puree and cook further. Add in the saffron strands and mix well . Now remove it from heat and keep aside.

3. In an another pan add in the ghee add in the almond, cashew nut, pistachio and raisin and sauté for sometime add in the cardamom powder and mix .

4. Now add this mixture to the kheer and mix. Then add in the rose water and mix well.

5. Remove it in a bowl topped up with cream and serve .
