Mango Thandai Smoothie | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

MANGO THANDAI SMOOTHIE

Ingredients

1 cup mango puree
1½ cups milk
¼ cup almonds, soaked overnight and peeled
¼ cup pistachios, soaked and peeled
¼ cup cashewnut, soaked
2 tablespoons melon seeds
1 tablespoon poppy seeds
1 tablespoon + ¼ cup castor sugar
½ cup vanilla ice cream
1 teaspoon green cardamom powder
¼ teaspoon nutmeg powder
1 tablespoon candied rose petals (gulkand)
Fresh mint sprigs for garnishing

Method

1. Grind together almonds, pistachios, cashewnuts, melon seeds, poppy seeds and 1 tablespoon castor sugar to make a smooth mixture.
2. Add ¼ cup milk and grind again.
3. Blend together milk, mango puree, ground mixture, remaining castor sugar, vanilla ice cream, cardamom powder, nutmeg powder and candied rose petals to make a smooth mixture.
4. Serve garnished with mint sprig.
