Mango Thokku Pickle | Indian Mom's Kitchen

A meal becomes complete only with pickles. If you love Mango pickles, then you should definitely make this pickle at home before this mango season ends.

Ingredients:
750 gms Raw Sour Mangoes
1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
1/2 tsp Fenugreek seeds
3/4 tsp Hing (Asafoetida)
3 tsp Red Chilli powder
2 tsp Salt
1/3 cup Mustard oil
1/4 tsp Turmeric powder

Method: Chop the sour raw Mangoes finely and keep aside. Dry roast the Fenugreek seeds and blend this along with salt and red chilli powder to make a fine powder. In a pan heat the Mustard oil till it starts smoking. To this add Mustard seeds, Hing and chopped Mangoes. Saute this mixture for 4-5 minutes.Then add Turmeric powder and mix well. Next, add the blended chilli powder mix and combine well. Continue to cook for 2 minutes. Remove from heat and cool. Mango Thokku Pickle is ready for use.
