A meal becomes complete only with pickles. If you love Mango pickles, then you should definitely make this pickle at home before this mango season ends. Ingredients:750 gms Raw Sour Mangoes1/2 tsp Mustard seeds1/2 tsp Fenugreek seeds3/4 tsp Hing (Asafoetida)3 tsp Red Chilli powder2 tsp Salt1/3 cup Mustard oil1/4 tsp Turmeric powderMethod: Chop the sour raw Mangoes finely and keep aside. Dry roast the Fenugreek seeds and blend this along with salt and red chilli powder to make a fine powder. In a pan heat the Mustard oil till it starts smoking. To this add Mustard seeds, Hing and chopped Mangoes. Saute this mixture for 4-5 minutes.Then add Turmeric powder and mix well. Next, add the blended chilli powder mix and combine well.
