Marble Cookies | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

Cookie made with vanilla and chocolate flavour to give that marble effect. Watch this video to find out how to make this recipe.

MARBLE COOKIES

Ingredients

½ cup butter
½ cup castor sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
1½ cups refined flour
½ teaspoon baking soda
¼ cup dark chocolate chips
¼ cup white chocolate chips
1 tablespoon cocoa powder
1 tablespoon milk
Refined flour for dusting

Method

1. Preheat oven to 180° C
2. Cream together butter and castor sugar in a bowl using an electric beater.
3. Break in an egg and whisk. Add in remaining egg and vanilla essence and whisk well.
4. Sieve together flour and baking soda and fold well.
5. Divide the mixture into 2 different bowls.
6. Add dark chocolate chips and white chocolate chips in one bowl and mix well.
7. Add cocoa powder to second bowl and mix. Add milk and mix well.
8. Dust the worktop with some flour, divide the white mixture and cocoa mixture into equal portions.
9. Take each portion of white mixture and roll into a thick log. Similarly, roll cocoa mixture portions into thick logs.
10. Take one white log and one dark log along and roll them together into one thick log. Similarly, prepare with remaining portions.
11. Cut each into 1 inch pieces, shape them into balls and place on the lined baking tray.
12. Put the baking tray in preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes. Remove from oven and cool.
13. Serve.
