These deep fried bread swiss rolls oozes out mouth-melting masaledar paneer that will leave you into food Nirvana.

MASALA PANEER SWISS ROLL

Ingredients

200 grams cottage cheese (paneer), cut into thin strips
4 white bread slices
½ tbsp ginger-garlic paste
½ tsp red chilli powder
¼ tsp garam masala powder
Salt to taste
2 tbsps freshly chopped coriander leaves
Oil for deep frying
Green chutney to serve
Tomato ketchup to serve

Method

1. In a bowl, add the cottage cheese strips, ginger-garlic paste, red chilli powder, garam masala powder, salt, chopped coriander, and mix well.
2. Trim the edges of the bread slices and discard them, roll each bread slice into a thin sheet, and cut into half.
3. Place a slice of the paneer on each half of the bread slice, and roll it tightly, secure with two tooth picks.
4. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai, deep fry the prepared Swiss rolls in the hot oil till golden brown and crisp. Drain on an absorbent paper and remove the tooth picks.
5. Serve hot with green chutney and tomato ketchup.
