Masala Bhat
Dry Masala
¼ cup grated dry coconut
2-3 Badi elaichi
4-5 cloves
½ tbsp cumin seeds
1 tbsp coriander seeds
½ tbsp sesame seeds
1-inch cinnamon
=============================
2 tbsp oil
½ tsp cumin
1 tsp very finely chopped green chili
1 tbsp very finely chopped ginger
¾ cup Ivy Gourd (tendli)
½ cup carrots
½ cup green peas
½ tsp turmeric
½ tsp red chili powder
1 cup rice (soaked for half an hour)
Salt
3 cups hot water
1/3 cup fresh grated coconut
1/3 cup coriander
Serve with – aachar, dahi, papad
