Ingredients for Boiled Lasagna Sheet:
Water as required
Salt 1 tbsp
Oil 2 tbsp
Lasagna sheets (1 pack)
Ingredients for Keema Preparation:
Oil 1/2 cup
Garlic (chopped) 1 tbsp.
Onion (finely chopped) 1/2 cup
Chicken mince 800 g
Salt 1 tsp / to taste
White pepper powder 1 tsp
Black pepper powder 1 tsp
Chicken powder 1 tsp
Red chili flakes 1 tbsp
Tomato paste 1 cup
Ketchup 1/2 cup
Water 1 cup
Capsicum (finely chopped) 1 cup
Tomatoes (finely chopped) 1/4 cup
Mixed herbs 1 tsp
Ingredients for White Sauce:
Butter 1/4 cup
All-purpose flour 1/4 cup
Milk 2 cups
White pepper powder 1 tsp
Salt 1 tsp / to taste
Milk (if needed) 1/2 cup
Ingredients for Assembling:
White sauce as required
Boiled lasagna sheets as required
Prepared keema as required
Mozzarella & cheddar cheese (grated) as required
Black olives (sliced) as required
Jalapenos (sliced) as required
Mixed herbs as required
Directions for boiled lasagna sheets preparation:
1. In a pot heat water and add oil and salt. Bring it to a boil.
2. Add lasagna sheet and boil until 80% done. Strain and set aside.
Directions for Keema Preparation:
3. In a pot heat oil and add garlic. Cook for a min.
4. Add onion and cook for another min.
5. Add chicken mince and cook until chicken changes color.
6. Add salt, white pepper powder, black pepper powder, chicken powder, red
chili flakes and cook for 2-3 mins.
7. Add tomato paste, ketchup, water and cook until mince is fully done.
8. Add capsicum, tomatoes, mixed herbs and cook for 2-3 mins.
9. Your chicken mince is ready. Set aside.
Directions for White Sauce Preparation:
10.In a pot heat butter, add flour and cook until fragrant and no lumps remain.
11.Add milk and cook until starts to thicken.
12.Add white pepper powder, salt and mix it well. Add milk again if the
consistency thickens than desired. Mix it well and set aside.
Directions for Assembling:
13.In a clay pot add layers of white sauce, boiled lasagna sheets, prepared
keema, mozzarella & cheddar cheese and lastly top with black olives,
jalapenos and mixed herbs.
14.Now bake them in a preheated oven at 180C for 10-15 mins.
15.Your Matka Lasagna is ready. Serve and enjoy.
