A super delicious curry made with white chickpeas which is easy to make and nutritious for you too.MATRA CURRYIngredients3 cups boiled dried white peas (matra)2 tbsps oil1 tsp cumin seeds2 medium onions, chopped + for garnish1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste¼ tsp turmeric powder¾ tsp red chilli powder1 tsp Tata Sampann Chole Masala2 medium tomatoes, choppedSalt to taste2 tbsps chopped fresh coriander + for garnish2 tbsps scraped coconut + for garnishMethod1. Heat oil in a deep nonstick pan. Add cumin seeds. Once they start to change colour, add onions and sauté till translucent. 2. Add ginger-garlic paste and continue to sauté for a minute.3. Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder and Tata Sampann Chole Masala and sauté for a minute.4. Add tomatoes, salt and sauté for 4-5 minutes or till the tomatoes are pulpy.5. Add the cooked white peas and mix well. Add 1½ cups water, coriander, coconut and mix well.6. Cover and cook on medium heat for 4-5 minutes.7. Transfer into a serving bowl.
