Turkish Meatballs with cheese "Kaarl kofta / kfte"
In this video, I am showing a famous Turkish kofta served in steak restaurants in Turkiye, especially in Istanbul. I tried it during my Emirgan visit with mom and dad to Suti restaurant. I wanted to try and share the recipe with you. The result is way better than what I tasted in the restaurant.

Ingredients For the kofta:
700gr. ground meat with about 20% fat (I used 400gr. beef and 300gr. lamb)
1 medium size onion grated finely
1/4 tsp baking soda
1 tsp each black pepper, paprika, cumin
2 tsp salt
1 egg
about 5-6 a bit heaped tbsp bread crumbs (add gradually while kneading the kofta mixture)
more olive oil or vegetable oil to brush the grill
about 200gr. grated kashar or gouda or mozarella cheese
