This was a visit to my local medical clinic to get a wound cleaned and dressed after I had screws in my leg removed. Ive had surgery 4 times in Thailand and every time Ive found the medical staff to be efficient and completely competent. The cost of medical treatment in Thailand is lower than in western countries and medical tourism is a growing industry in Thailand.The screws were in my leg as the result of a motorbike accident that I had in Thailand in 2013. My doctor recommended that the screws be removed after 2 years. For the 2 weeks following the surgery I had to go to a medical clinic every 2 days to have the wound cleaned and dressed.
