Middle East Woman Learn to Cook Indian Village Food for the First Time | Crazy For Indian Food

Indian Village life is just amazing, because of that millions of tourist now visiting many Indian Villages every year. She came to my village after watching my Cooking Videos on Youtube. I can't believe that someone from USA just come to me to celebrate our Traditional food and to learn Indian Village Cooking.

INGREDIENTS:
Cereals: Chana dal
Vegetables: Potato, Peas
Spices: salt, turmeric, cumin seeds, garlic

METHOD OF COOKING:
CHANNA BATTER :
1. Soak channa dal for 2 hrs in water, drain the water, grind in stone and make into paste with salt.
VEG COOK:
2. Peel potato skin cut into cubes, boil it.
3. In kadai add oil, cumin seeds, add boiled cube potato, add peas cook for 4 to 5 mts.
Remove from fire, transfer into another empty vessel.
CRUST: BATTER+VEG
4. Add into kadai oil, spread the oil in kadai, pour the channa batter into this 2 ladle amount, spread and make hole to fill the vegetable
5. Add cooked potato-peas sabji as stuffing.
7. Cover the stuffing with remaining batter.
8. Cover with lid low to medium heat, till crisp golden brown.
9. Turn around the batter crust and cook the other side by covering with lid
10. Remove the batter crust using spatula, transfer in plate
Serve with Chaa
