MISSAL CASSEROLE - (Serves - 4)Ingredients1 cup matki sprouts, boiled2 medium onions, finely chopped1-2 green chillies, finely chopped1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste1 cup dried grated coconut3-4 tablespoons oil1 medium onion, halved and sliced1 tablespoon red chilli powder1½ teaspoons garam masala powder1 large potato, boiled, peeled and cut into small cubesSalt to taste 1¼ tablespoons chopped fresh coriander leavesFarsan for topping ½ baguette, cut into cubes 2-3 tablespoons grated mozzarella cheese2-3 tablespoons grated processed cheeseMethod1. Blend together onion, green chillies, ginger-garlic paste and coconut with sufficient water to make a semi-thick and smooth paste.2. Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add onions and sauté for 1-2 minutes. Add prepared paste, mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes. 3. Add chilli powder and garam masala powder, mix well, cover and cook till the oil leaves the sides of the pan. 4. Add potatoes and matki and mix well. Add ¼ cup water, mix and cook for 2-3 minutes.5. Add salt, mix well, cover and cook till the mixture turns semi-dry.6. Preheat oven at 180ºC. 7. Transfer the prepared mixture in an oval glass baking dish and spread. Sprinkle 1 tablespoon coriander leaves and top with lots of farsan. Arrange baguette cubes on top and press a little.8. Sprinkle mozzarella, processed cheese and remaining coriander leaves, put the dish in the preheated oven and bake till the cheese melts. 9. Serve hot.
