Amaze your friends and family with a plate of Mixed Vegetable Idli!Ingredients:Idli batter - 3 cupsCarrot - 1 mediumFresh green peas - ¼ cupTomatoes - 1 bigCapsicum - 1 smallAlmonds/Cashew - optionalSalt to tasteIngredients for tempering:Oil - 5 tspsMustard seeds - ½ tspBengal gram dal - 1 tspUrad dal - 1 tspMethod:Chop the carrots, capsicum and tomatoes In a bowl, add the Idli batter To the batter add the green peas and all the chopped vegetablesMix wellNow, heat oil in a pan Splutter mustard seeds Then roast the Bengal gram dal and urad dalAdd the tempering now to the Idli batterMix everything together adding salt Grease small plates or Idli stand slots with oil Place the Almonds/Cashews and then pour the Idli batter to half of the plate or Idli standSteam till the Mixed Vegetable Idlis are cookedServe with Coconut chutney
