Mixed Vegetable Idli#Idli which can be a crown of a royal menu! | Sujan Fun Kitchen

But, today Sujan Fun Kirchen is bringing Mixed Vegetable Idli which bursts with nutrients, crunch and colours!
Amaze your friends and family with a plate of Mixed Vegetable Idli!
Ingredients:
Idli batter - 3 cups
Carrot - 1 medium
Fresh green peas - ¼ cup
Tomatoes - 1 big
Capsicum - 1 small
Almonds/Cashew - optional
Salt to taste
Ingredients for tempering:
Oil - 5 tsps
Mustard seeds - ½ tsp
Bengal gram dal - 1 tsp
Urad dal - 1 tsp
Method:
Chop the carrots, capsicum and tomatoes
In a bowl, add the Idli batter
To the batter add the green peas and all the chopped vegetables
Mix well
Now, heat oil in a pan
Splutter mustard seeds
Then roast the Bengal gram dal and urad dal
Add the tempering now to the Idli batter
Mix everything together adding salt
Grease small plates or Idli stand slots with oil
Place the Almonds/Cashews and then pour the Idli batter to half of the plate or Idli stand
Steam till the Mixed Vegetable Idlis are cooked
Serve with Coconut chutney
