Spread the love! :)Download our App - http://bit.ly/DownloadIndiaFoodNetworkAppIngredients:1 mocha or banana blossom (cut fine and steamed and mashed)½ cup motor daal ¼ cup rice 1 tsp cumin seeds2-3 bay leaves1 cup potatoes cut into cubes 1 tsp ginger paste1 tsp turmeric powder1 tsp red chilli powder1 tsp cumin powder½ tsp Bengali garam masala powder1 tbsp ghee 2 tbsp Emami Healthy & Tasty Kachchi Ghani Mustard oil to deep frySalt and sugar to tasteMethod:Soak motor daal and rice overnight. Grind to a paste adding few green chillies.Mix the dal paste with the mashed mocha. Add salt and sugar to taste. Prepare small fritters or bada s from this mixture and deep fry. Drain and keep aside.Heat 2 tbsp Emami Healthy & Tasty Kachchi Ghani Mustard oil in a pan. Add bay leaves, cumin and potatoes. Fry till the potatoes are brown. Prepare a paste adding turmeric, cumin powder, red chilli powder, ginger paste and some water. Add this paste to the pan with potatoes. Sauté well. Add water, cover and cook till potatoes are done. Add the fried vadas and let the gravy soak in the vadas.Sprinkle ghee and garam masala.
