Preetha Srinivasan teaches you how to make modak dough at home, a quick and easy dough recipe by India Food Network.Ingredients:1 cup Rice flour 1/4 cup Nachni (Ragi) flour Salt to tasteOil as requiredWaterWet muslin or table clothMethod:- Combine the flours, salt and enough water to mix into a thick batter.- Heat a pan and coat with oil. Remove excess using a tissue paper.- Add batter and keep mixing till the batter starts to resemble dough.- Remove on to a greased plate and keep kneading till it's a smooth dough.
